As I plow through the posts to date to catch up, I was thinking the same. DDR tells you when you were close, almost or perfect on pressing the button(s) at the correct time. That could translate to "you picked the right keys, but were a bit off on chording them simultaeously."

Sadly, no. Plover is sort of on hiatus at the moment. But it's not dead! Don't worry. I'm going to be collaborating with a graphic designer to get some mockups going, and I hope to launch a Kickstarter campaign maybe this fall. Don't give up hope!

You should make at least one game where it's like DDR. It plays a song with lyrics and the steno outlines flow up to the "targets" up at the top of the screen and you have to hit them as they roll over.

Except with Plover, the on-screen directions won't be arrows, but steno chords.

Love your ideas! How do you plan to make the games accessible to those who don't already have a steno machine? Are you thinking of including some other option for input?

Just a little curiousity...

I came across Plover a while back so two weeks ago when my friends were making a hangman game for a coding competition, a stenotype mode found it's way in:

Probably not a completely correct implementation. Surprisingly we won :-)
