I just learned of an open steno meetup that happened at the MRMCD conference in Germany earlier this month! How cool! Anyone know of any others??

Wide Keys

I asked the Plover Discord what to blog about today, and one person suggested wide keys. I hadn't really thought of them much before. I always just get wide DZ, wide Rs, double wide asterisks. But maybe other people have other opinions? I'd be interested to hear them, if so.

Steno with Kids!!

I spent like two hours this morning going over steno theory with my 10-year-old this morning! I've tried a few times before, but it's never really clicked. This time it definitely seemed to click! We're both enthusiastic to continue. Anyone have any tips or tricks for teaching steno for kids? We also want to try building a steno learning game in Scratch together, so tips on that would be very welcome too!
